These
rules apply to the City Streets in Bermuda Beach and all Public
Beach areas.
Violations will result in a maximum fine of $500.00 Residents
& Guests should use the roads or walkways to access the beach.
This
is a residential community that happens to be located on the coast.
In the City you wouldn't think of crossing through someones front
or backyard to get where you are going. The same "code of
conduct" that you use in your neighborhood at home applies
to Bermuda Beach. Respect for private property is appreciated.

Bermuda Beach
is in the City. City ordinances for subdivisions and building
codes do apply.
NO MOTORIZED
VEHICLES
are allowed on the beach except at the Pabst Rd. access area and
parking lot. You may not drive down the beach to launch or pick
up a boat. This must be done within the pilings at the Pabst Rd.

Launch
All home owners
in Bermuda Beach contribute to the upkeep of this public beach
and dune area, in addition to the normal taxes being paid by everyone.
The dune vegetation is a critical element in keeping the beach
in "useable" condition for everyone. Anyone seen driving
on the beach will be reported by a homeowner to the local police.
Homeowners may take photographs of license tags and file a complaint
with the police.

Driving
- NO Driving on
the Beach, This
includes scooters, go-carts, golf carts, ATVs and motorized vehicle
- Drivers in the
subdivision on the City streets, must be licensed drivers
- Vehicles must
be registered appropriately for whatever type of vehicle they
are. Golf carts etc.
Parking
- Parking in designated
areas only.
- Please do not
park on the sand dunes at any time.
- Please do not
park on the neighbor's property.
- Please do not
park in other peoples driveways even if it the house is unoccupied.
- Please do not
park on vacant lots without the written permission from the owner.
- When parking
along the road be sure that all wheels are on the shoulder area
and that an emergency vehicle can easily get through.
Animals/Pets
- Dogs may not
run loose in the neighborhood or on the beach.
- Horses are not
allowed on the beach during summer months. Horses are allowed
on the beach during specific times of the day during the fall
and winter. (City ordinance) Sec. 8-8. Horses on beaches.
(a) Except in areas designated for the purpose, it shall be unlawful
for any person to ride, lead or drive any horse, mule, jackass,
donkey or pony upon any public beach within the-city between
the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m., on Memorial Day, the Fourth
of July, Labor Day and on any Saturday or Sunday during the months
of May through September, inclusive.
- When walking
your dog it must be kept on a leash. (City ordinance)
Trash
Please use the trash barrels furnished by the Parks Board. Blowing
trash causes an environmental hazard to marine life and no one
likes to have to pick up after someone else. When walking, pick
up plastic and other miscellaneous debris that washes up in the
tide. It's good exercise to bend and pickup and is the first
line of defense in keeping Texas beaches clean and healthy for
all!
